[A LOST ALBUM FROM OHM RESISTANCE - 13M OHM - 2008]

SST began his solo career with the impressive full length Stepping Through Shadows. As a member of The Chosen, he rose to prominence with several 12" releases on labels like Cymbalism, Habit and Ohm Resistance. A full time audio editor and former Full Sail teacher, SST's engineering abilities are off the charts - clean, smooth production backed up with total groove workouts. A broad adaptation of neurofunk with Detroit synth sensibilities, and thickly sculpted drums provide the elements for this mixed genre debut.

The album features several vocal tracks featuring Messinian (Planet of the Drums/Dieselboy), Collaborator and also NYC shoegaze rockers The Project_Pale. Electronic Dub tracks flow with melodic beauty and bass heavy consistency - "Mind of God" is the showcase piece, with a rapid-fire flow and massive hook. On the Drum n Bass side of the album, pure dancefloor rollers such as Humanity Lost meet creatively spaced out pieces, with the title track Stepping Through Shadows illustrating the connection between DnB structure and dubstep break patterns. Articulate and dance oriented, SST's debut album is one of the first high points of connection between DnB and Electronic Dub Music.
